: The seeds of <i>Arabidopsis thaliana</i> ecotype Columbia-0 (N22625) were originally purchased from NASC (ExternalRef removed) and preserved in our lab<i>.</i> All the cotton germplasm resources used in this research were preserved in the National Wild Cotton Germplasm Resources Nursery (Sanya, China). All plant resources used in this research were identified by Hou yuqing. Experimental research on plants in this study complied with institutional, national, or international guidelines and legislation.
