: The plant material used in this study was <i>A. venetum</i> and <i>A. hendersonii</i>, grown in the laboratory of the Institute of bast fiber crops, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) and no permits were required to collect plant samples. In the present study, all methods were carried out following relevant guidelines and regulations. Ethical approval or consent was not required for this study because no endangered or protected species were involved.
