: This study was conducted in accordance with all applicable guidelines, including prior informed consent from farmers for field studies as per protocols established by Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University, India. The research utilized seeds of the cultivated cocoa hybrid ‘VTLCH-2’ (Theobroma cacao) legally propagated and supplied by ICAR-CPCRI, India. Our study complied fully with international regulations as all plant material was domestically cultivated with no wild collection; no cross-border transfer occurred; and the hybrid was developed and distributed through authorized institutional channels.
