Declarations
:
: The studied species (Synsepalum dulcificum) is a least concerned species in the UICN classification. Consequently, as part of the University of Abomey-Calavi Ethic committee, the collecting of a reasonable number of seeds for research purpose is granted by students’ thesis committee. The first author benefited from that policy. In addition, since the plant was located on a private land, a Prior Informed Consent was obtained from the landlord before the seed collecting.
