: This study includes fossil specimens that comply with relevant institutional, national, and international guidelines and legislation. The amber fossil in this study was collected from the Hukawng Valley in Kachin State, northern Myanmar, near the village of Noije Bum (26°20′N, 96°36′E), located approximately 18 km southwest of Tanai Township. Research on Burmese amber has a century-long history, with hundreds of related studies published worldwide to date. This specimen was purchased by the second author, W.H., from commercial fossil dealers in 2015 and was donated to Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology for scientific research in 2024. It is permanently curated at the Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NIGPAS), Nanjing, China, under the catalogue number PB206768. The fossil plant name is registered as PFN003564. No ethical approval or consent is necessary for this research, as it does not involve endangered or protected plant species.
