: In the conduct of this study, scientific ethical rules were followed and the plant material was respected in accordance with relevant institutional, national and international guidelines and legislation. The plant material of the study for Turkish cultivars consists of seedlings obtained from hazelnut plants provided by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Hazelnut Research Institute (Türkiye) in 2015. The plant material of the study for Italian cultivars consists of seedlings obtained from hazelnut plants provided by the Vivai Vignolini nursery in Viterbo (Italy) in 2018.
