: Field sampling of Asimina triloba was conducted on cultivated trees located at the experimental orchards of IHSM La Mayora (Málaga, Spain; Plant IDs: 414, 415, 416) and at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University (Boston, USA; Plant IDs: 143-94B, 205–91 A, 1222–79 A). Both sites are managed research facilities, and permission for sampling was granted by the respective institutions. No wild populations or protected areas were involved, and no specific permits were required under Spanish or U.S. legislation for sampling cultivated material. All procedures complied with institutional, national, and international guidelines for plant research. Voucher specimens were not deposited because the study used living trees maintained in the collections of IHSM La Mayora and the Arnold Arboretum, which are permanently labeled and documented under the accession numbers provided above. Species identity was confirmed by Cristina Ferrer-Blanco.
