: This species was not included in the list of rare and endangered species in China. It was necessary to collect seeds for scientific research to perform the classification. In accordance with the requirements of China Resources Sanjiu Medical & Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., seeds of I. indigotica were collected from Hubei Province, China. I. costata , I. tinctoria , I. violascens , I. minima , I. gymnocarpa , and I. multicaulis were collected from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China. All the samples were used only for plant research. The use of seeds in this study complied with the relevant institutional, national, and international guidelines and legislation.
