: A total of 38 accessions of C. henryi (comprising both domesticated and wild populations) were collected from three representative provinces in China: Hunan, Fujian, and Zhejiang (detailed provenance information is provided in Table 1). The collection of all materials was conducted with the necessary prior informed consent from local authorities or relevant land managers. All accessions were formally identified by Deyi Yuan, professor, a taxonomist at Central South University of Forestry and Technology, and voucher specimens (Voucher Nos. [TRXY2025001 to TRXY 2025038]) have been deposited at the Specimen Storage Room, Key Laboratory, College of Agro-forestry Engineering &Planning, Tongren University. Currently, C. henryi is not listed in the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List and is categorized as a species of “Least Concern” in the sampled regions, reflecting its stable population status. All experimental procedures and field collections were strictly conducted in compliance with institutional, national, and international guidelines for the ethical use of plant genetic resources.
