: The plant seedlings of Abies beshanzuensis M.H. Wu used in this study were collected from wild populations in the Baishanzu National Park. Collection permits were obtained from the administrative authorities of Baishanzu National Park, and all sampling activities complied with applicable local, national, and international regulations. The species was formally identified by Wu Mingxiang in 1976. Voucher specimens (Wu Mingxiang 7511 and Wu Mingxiang 7512) have been deposited at the Herbarium of the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Herbarium of the Institute of Botany, Jiangsu Province and Chinese Academy of Sciences, respectively. All experimental research and plant material collection followed relevant national and international guidelines and standards.
