Ethics approval and consent to participate: All plant materials used in this study were collected and utilized in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines. Permission for the field collection of wild germplasm was obtained through an official permit issued by the Sichuan Forestry and Grassland Bureau. The remaining wild materials were sourced from the publicly available collections of the National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS) of the United States Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS). No collections were made on private land.
