Ethical approval was granted by the Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) of the Sichuan Provincial Disease Control Center (IRB approval number: 2015-SCDCC-078) and Ziyang Central Hospital (IRB approval number: 2019 − 185). As this was a retrospective cohort study, it was not registered in any clinical trial registry. Informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to their inclusion in the study.
