: This study followed the ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical approval was obtained from the Faculty of Medicine, Beni-Suef University (FM-BSU) Research Ethics Committee (REC/01092024/Mansour). Additionally, approval was granted by the Department of Anesthesiology, Surgical Intensive Care, and Pain Management at FM-BSU. The trial was prospectively registered on ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT06612125) on September 25, 2024. The study protocol ensured compliance with all relevant ethical guidelines, including patient confidentiality and the right to withdraw at any stage without consequence. Before participation, written informed consent was obtained from the legal guardians of all enrolled patients.
