: This study was approved by the Comité d'éthique de la recherche (CÉR) du CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal (Reference number: 2023–3091) and was conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Written informed consent to participate was obtained from all participants prior to inclusion in the study. Patients who met the inclusion criteria of our study were approached by a research assistant who described the study in detail and explained its risks and benefits. The patients were assured of the confidentiality of the data and were told they could withdraw from the study at any time. They were also assured that not participating, or withdrawing after giving consent, would not affect the quality of care provided.
