: This prospective randomized controlled trial was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki (2013 Edition). This investigation was approved by the Hospital São Luiz & Rede D´or and Affiliated Teaching Hospitals Research Ethics Committee (protocol 5.640.555, CAAE 63239722.4.0000.0087) and registered in the Brazilian Registry of Clinical Trials (RBR-5tbdpy5) on January 29, 2024.
