: The presented data were assessed within the framework of the GenderVasc research project (innovation fonds 2019 of the joint federal committee; g-BA Innovationsfonds, number 01VSF18051). Permission to obtain and analyze the data was granted by the cooperation partners AOK health insurance federal association and the Scientific Institute of the AOK (WIdO). The GenderVasc project was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Landesaerztekammer Westfalen-Lippe and the Medical Faculty of University of Muenster (No 2019–21-f-S).
