: This study was conducted per the Declaration of Helsinki and was approved by the Ethics Committee of Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Central on 20th December 2023 (Process No. 1468/2023). All participants were informed that participation in this study was voluntary and that they could withdraw at any time, even after giving consent, without impacting their treatment or care. The study was explained to all participants clearly and comprehensibly, and a document with full information about this research was provided. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants. Additionally, participants were informed that the data collected from their electronic medical records would be used solely for this study. Each participant was assigned a unique code to ensure anonymity, which was used on all questionnaires applied. Anonymisation and data handling were carried out exclusively by the principal researcher, who has sole access to the collected data and is responsible for securely storing the questionnaires. Although this study did not directly involve the use of mHealth solutions, the potential integration of the HFaST tool into digital platforms raises concerns about equitable access. To address these, measures such as offering user training, addressing barriers related to digital literacy and access to technology, and providing non-digital alternatives should be considered to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all users.
