Ethical approval was obtained from the Institutional Review Committee (IRC), Nobel College, which is affiliated with Pokhara University (Ref. no. 079/080/198). Formal permission was obtained from the Annapurna Neurological Institute and Allied Sciences. Verbal and written informed consent were obtained from participants via signatures or thumbprints before the initiation of the interview sessions. Confidentiality and anonymity were maintained by using a code number instead of the name of respondents. Participants were not forced to answer the questions.
