: The need for ethics approval was deemed unnecessary according to national regulations in Sweden, described in the Ethical Review Act, <i>Act (2003: 460) on ethical review of research on people</i> []. However, ethical issues were considered throughout the process in line with the Declaration of Helsinki []. The participants received written information via e-mail about the purpose of the study. All the participants gave their informed consent. They were informed that participation was voluntary and that they could withdraw at any time without stating a reason, and they were allowed to ask questions. The semi-structured interview guide was designed to protect the participants’ privacy and minimize the risk of re-experiencing stress when recounting experiences. No questions of sensitive nature were asked.
