: This retrospective observational study used routinely collected, pseudonymised data extracted from prehospital medical records and from the institutional trauma registry. The study was conducted in accordance with French regulations governing research using routinely collected health data and with the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679). In accordance with French legislation on research involving human participants (Loi Jardé), this type of retrospective study based on existing pseudonymised data does not require approval by a research ethics committee or written informed consent.
