Ethical approval was obtained from the Ethics Committee of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (reference number: HCB/2020/0692). The Ethics Committee waived the requirement for informed consent to participate, as permitted under Spanish and EU regulations, specifically, Law 14/2007 of July 3 on Biomedical Research, and Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights. The waiver was granted because the study involved the analysis of anonymized data collected during routine care, with no impact on the participants’ rights or welfare.
