Author information: The authors have conducted research in point-of-care ultrasound. MDA, CF, and SHO hold PhD degrees in point-of-care ultrasound, while RL is currently completing a PhD within the same field. All authors work clinically in an Emergency Department where POCUS is used daily as part of patient assessment.
