: The UK’s Health Research Authority decision tool () showed that ethics approval was not required for the consensus-building exercise, as the project was a consultation and engagement exercise classified as a quality improvement activity [,], in which all of the participants were invited to join the authorship group and to be acknowledged in the project’s outputs. Participants provided written online consent to the terms and conditions regarding the Thiscovery platform’s privacy policy and terms of use (). Participants were provided with information about the project, and re-confirmed their consent before each new round of the consensus-building exercise.
