Ethics approval was deemed unnecessary as the participant decided independently of and prior to the conception of this study to abstain from alcohol for a month as part of a public health campaign in Germany. The study consists in the analysis of self-tracked data collected by the participant during this low-risk lifestyle change. The study did not involve the administration of medicinal products, the use of medical devices, exposure to ionizing radiation, or any other hazardous or invasive procedures. The study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. The participant read and approved the final version of this manuscript.
