: All methods were carried out according to the relevant guidelines and regulations. Informed consent was obtained from all subjects, all participants received a written informed consent form to sign before an interview. The participants were informed that the interviews would be recorded on tape and that the data would be treated anonymously. Participation in the study was voluntary, with the right to withdraw without consequences. The participants in the interviews were pseudonymised using identification numbers to ensure anonymity and confidentiality of the interviewee.According to the national regulations of Latvia [CitationRef removed] and Code of Ethics of the Latvian Sociological Association [CitationRef removed], a research ethics committee and ethical approval is not required for anonymous sociological research, including qualitative studies, as approval from the ethics committee is only needed for biomedical research and clinical studies. Additionally, the interviews were pseudonymised, no health data was collected, and no participants could be identified from the collected data.
