: The study was conducted in accordance with the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki []. No ethical approval was needed according to the Swedish Ethical Review Act []. The study only focused on the healthcare leaders’ professional work, did not include sensitive personal data or was likely to in any ways harm the participants. The participants were informed prior to the interviews both in writing and verbally on the following topics: the purpose of the project and why they were asked to participate, that their participation was voluntary and could be ended at any time without having to state any reason, that when interview study was made publicly available it would not be possible to identify individuals, that no unauthorized persons would be able to access the interview data and that the information from their interview would be handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) []. The participants were given time to ask questions and were then asked to provide verbal consent concerning their participation prior to any data collection.
