The patients received information about the study when they logged in at the PHC Online platform, including information about how to opt out. Informed consent to participate was waived by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (dnr 2019–06388). Personal data were handled safely and in accordance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation. A Data Management Plan was created and stored digitally at Lund University.
