: The KP IRB reviewed and determined that the project did not meet the regulatory definition of human subjects and/or research (IRB#1223879–1). The project activities were considered Quality Improvement. They were a part of routine clinical care and were executed in accordance with KP policies and the American Medical Association's Code of Medical Ethics. Therefore, informed consent to participate was deemed unnecessary according to national regulations. Data collection activities were performed in accordance with all KP ethics and compliance policies, and, although not regulated by IRB, the team adhered to ethical principles and guidelines outlined in the Belmont report. This included providing information for participants to voluntary complete the survey and to opt out at any time.
