: The protocol of this study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Institut Universitari d’Investigació en Atenció Primària Jordi Gol (IDIAP Jordi Gol) with the code 20/004-P. The confidentiality and anonymity of the data have been ensured in accordance with the principles of Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, issued by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. As this study is based on the use of data collected from the electronic medical records in a pseudonymized manner, without patient contact or impact on their clinical care, it is considered unnecessary to request informed consent, in accordance with Articles 6.e) and 9.2 j) + 89 of the General data protection regulation (GDPR). Only the technician from the SIDIAP platform, who is external to the research team, will have access to the list linking identifying codes with personal data, and this data will remain pseudonymized.
