: For the current meta-synthesis, an application for ethical approval was submitted to the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (#023-04360-01). However, since the study does not involve the processing of sensitive personal data, the Authority concluded that the application did not require review or approval.Ethical approval for the original research projects was obtained from the Regional Ethical Review Boards in Linköping and Stockholm, as well as from the Swedish Ethical Review Authority. The specific registration numbers for each study are listed in Appendix 1.The research adhered to the Declaration of Helsinki (WMA, 2013) and the Swedish Act (2003:460) on Ethical Review of Research Involving Humans. Participants were informed both verbally and in writing that their participation was voluntary and that they could withdraw from the study at any time.
