The ethics approval for this study was granted by the Ethics Committee of Alto Minho Local Health (Decree-Law No 97/95 of 10 May, revised by Decree-Law No 80/2018 of 15 October). Participants received comprehensive information about the study’s purpose, methods, and potential benefits. Confidentiality and anonymity were strictly maintained, and participation was entirely voluntary, with the option to withdraw at any time without consequences.
