: The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki, and approved by the Ethics Advisory Group (EAG Number: 01/21) of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung disease, Paris, France, and the Ethics Review Committee (ERC/01/21) of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka for studies involving humans. Written informed consent was obtained from all healthcare workers and patients interviewed in the study. Telephonic verbal consent was taken from patients to review their clinical books for extracting data.
