: All applicable international, national, and institutional guidelines for the care and use of animals were followed. All procedures performed involving animals were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institution or practice at which the study was conducted. Pre-study euthanization was planned if animals showed significant signs of distress or failure to thrive irrespective of treatment. The humane endpoint was 25% weight loss.
