: For the initial liver biopsy study (approval no. B201308702), ethics approval was granted by the Ethics Committee of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Informed consent was obtained from all participants at that time. Authors reporting experiments on humans and/or the use of human tissue samples must confirm that all experiments were performed in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations. In June 2023, our center began planning to conduct a large-scale retrospective analysis within a two-year period.
