Ethical approvals were also granted by the Medical Research Ethics Committee Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the Human Research Ethics Committee, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). The study was conducted in full compliance with ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki and Malaysian Good Clinical Practice Guideline.
