: A formal ethical approval was deemed unnecessary for this study according to §15 of the Saxon Medical Association’s professional code of conduct (Berufsordnung der Sächsischen Landesärztekammer). There was no personally identifiable information collected in this study on medical education. All evaluation participants were informed about the study’s background, invitations and personal logins to the questionnaires were sent by an uninvolved third party, the online survey was completely anonymous, and the statistically aggregated analysis of the data does not allow personal identification. Although taking the course was mandatory for the 5th year medical students, participation in this evaluation study was voluntary. Completing and returning the online questionnaire was interpreted as consent to take part.
