: The assessment of SRH, functional and mental health problems using SF-12, Barthel Index and PHQ-4 are covered by the ethical approvement of the PAWEL study by the Ethics Commission of the Faculty of Medicine of the Eberhard-Karls University and University Hospital Tübingen with number 517/2017BO1 on October 12, 2017, and by the Ethics Commission of the University of Potsdam with number 38/2017 on December 11, 2017. Informed consent was obtained from all individual participants included in the study or from their legal guardians. This also contained a section that all scientists involved in the PAWEL study are allowed to use the data for (secondary) analyses.
