It has been approved by the appropriate national ethics committees. NSD- Norwegian Centre for Research Data, the Data Protection Official for Research, approved the study on February 25 2020. The legal basis for their approval is the Personal Data Protection Regulation Act art. 6 no. 1 letter 1, cf. art. 9 no. 2 letter a, cf. Personal Data Act § 10. NSDs reference number is 150740.An application for prior approval of the research project was also processed by the Regional Committee for Medical and Healthcare Research Ethics (REK south-east B). The assessment concluded that the project as health service research will not acquire new knowledge about health or illness. The project therefore falls outside REK's remit mandate under the Norwegian Health Research Act § 10, cf. § 10 of the Research Ethics Act. Their assessment was concluded on February 2 2020. Their reference number is 52825.Written informed consent was taken by all participants in the interviews and for relevant parts of the log. The informed consent sheets were approved by NSD. Participant’s names and corresponding key numbers to the interviews were stored separately at the University of Oslo’s Services for Sensitive Data (TSD). Only employees in the project (SFW, RP, AGH and JS) had access to the data files and duty of confidentiality was taken and signed by the transcriptors.
