: The ethics body of the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), known as the Students Research Ethics body (SREC), gave its clearance for the in-depth interview (no: IIPS/ACAD/PB/IO-211/2022). As the present study focused solely on older individuals aged 60 and above for In-depth Interviews, minors were not included in the study sample. Therefore, informed consent was obtained from all subjects aged 60 and above and any other legally authorized guardian (if needed). A paragraph was presented in front of participants providing the purpose of the study and liberty to participate. In order to maintain the confidentiality of the participants, permission was obtained from the participants to use their information only for academic research. Their identities, such as their names and locations will not be disclosed. Without providing any hints, participants were asked to talk their experiences with caring for grandchildren. The actual field interview was started from mid-March and ended in August, 2022. Total duration of filed work interview was around 135 days. During transcription, translation, and storage, all the data that may have been used to identify the participants was de-identified. Following analysis, all tape recorder-captured data was erased. Throughout transcription, translation, and storage processes, all the data that can identify the participants was de-identified. Once it had been analysed, all of the tape-recorded data had been deleted.
