: In order to conduct the research, an ethics approval (12.06.2019–673) from the Bülent Ecevit University Human Research Ethics Committee and a written permission from the Zonguldak Provincial Health Directorate (95762934–799/01.01.2020–11) were obtained. Commumity-dwelling older adults, who admitted to family health centers at the time the research was conducted and who met the study inclusion criteria, were informed about the purpose and importance of the research. Informed consent was obtained from all individual participants included in the study. The study was conducted in accordance with the Helsinki principles.
