The trial was registered with the University Hospital Medical Information Network (UMIN) clinical trials registry (UMIN000047247) and approved by the RIKEN ethics committee (RIKEN-W3-2021-049). Informed consent was obtained from all participants. All data were anonymized before analysis to ensure participant confidentiality. Participants in both groups received equal cash compensation of 15,000 JPY. If additional time was required (e.g., for intervention evaluation), an extra 1,000 JPY per hour was provided.
