: The requisite permissions were obtained from the Cancer Institute of Imam Hospital, where the study was performed. Then, approval was granted by the Tehran University of Medical Sciences Faculty ethical committee under ethical number IR.TUMS.IKHC.REC.1402.045 and clinical trial number: not applicable. All potential participants were informed about the study and signed a written consent to participate. During the interview, the elderly were treated with respect and kindness. Also, the participants were assured that their personal information would remain confidential and that their withdrawal from the study was optional.
