We confirmed that no patient had expressed opposition to the use of their personal data for research purposes within the institution. Under French legislation, this retrospective observational study using existing clinical data did not require Research Ethics Committee approval and did not meet the definition of a clinical trial, and therefore clinical trial registration was not required. It was classified as “internal” by the CNIL, reviewed by the institution’s Data Protection Officer, and approved by the local Ethics and Scientific Committee (PADS24-120).
