: This research was based on secondary microdata derived from the Türkiye Older Adults Profile Survey conducted by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat). No primary data were collected directly from participants. Prior to accessing the dataset, official authorization and a microdata use agreement were obtained from TurkStat. TurkStat produces official statistics in line with national legislation and internationally recognized standards, including those of the European Union Statistical Office (Eurostat), the United Nations, the OECD, and the International Labour Organization (ILO), under the framework of Turkish Statistical Law No. 5429 and the Official Statistics Programme established pursuant to this law. The Türkiye Older Adults Profile Survey is implemented under state authority, and all data are gathered in accordance with principles of confidentiality and data security. Accordingly, separate ethics committee approval was not required for the use of this dataset. The study was conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki, applicable data protection regulations, and the data security requirements of the Turkish Statistical Institute.
