: In Mali, this study has been approved by the ethical committee (“Comité d’Ethique Institutionnel du CRLD du Mali”) with reference number 2016/05/CEI-CRLD on date 10/05/2016.In Togo, this study has been approved by the ethical committee (« Comité d’Ethique de la Recherche en Santé du Togo ») on date 28/04/2016 and its execution has been authorized by the Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Togo with reference number 012/2016/MSPS/CAB/SG/DPML/CBRS on date 19/05/2016.Individual consent to participate in the study was obtained from participants (or their parent or legal guardian in the case of children under 16) before the questionnaires were administered and blood samples were collected. To ensure confidentiality, subjects’ data were secured with a code number.
