Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The University of British Columbia Behavioural Research Ethics Board, the IWK Health Centre Research Ethics Board, the Mount Sinai Hospital Research Ethics Board, and the Nova Scotia Health Authority Research Ethics Board approved this study. An information letter accompanied each questionnaire, detailing the survey protocol and objectives. The letter clarified that staff’s voluntary and anonymous participation, by returning the questionnaires in designated drop boxes, implied their consent.
