Ethics approval and consent to participate

: The study was approved by American University IRB on March 14, 2018 under protocol # IRB-2018-329, “Rapid Genomic Detection of Antimicrobial Resistance.” In addition to the ethics approval, written informed consent for research was obtained from the individual who donated the <i>S. salivarius</i> tested in this work. The bacterial sample was de-identified prior to being used in this study.
