Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The protocol entitled “Reducing the prevalence of TB in a highly endemic setting using community-wide active case finding” (2013/73) was approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of the University of Sydney on 9th April, 2013. The protocol was approved by the Institutional Review Board of the National Lung Hospital, Vietnam Ministry of Health (Ref:4O7/QD-BVPTU) on 29th August, 2013.All participants who receive the intervention and who provide data for the research are provided with written patient information statements and give verbal consent to participate. Participants having chest x-rays and blood tests give written informed consent. The information statements are available on request.
