Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The Margibi Health Team warranted the investigation as part of a routine outbreak management and response operations. We obtained unwritten permission from the Margibi Health team and CH Rennie Hospital to investigate the outbreak and review the patients’ medical records. Furthermore, we obtained written consent from the families’ of deceased patients to disclose medical information.
: We obtained a written consent from the families’ of the diseased patients to publish the deceased patients’ personal and medical details.
