Ethics approval and consent to participate
: This study was performed in compliance with the ethical guidelines under the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the Chungbuk National University Hospital. In brief, the study has an approved written consent for the RNAs extracted from nasopharyngeal samples collected from patients at Chungbuk National University Hospital (Republic of Korea) due to acute respiratory disease syndrome were used to evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of the multiplex RT-LAMP assay in accordance with procedures approved by the Institutional Review Board of Chungbuk National University Hospital with approved code of IRB no. CBNUH 2018–01–001-002. All highly pathogenic viruses were handled in an enhanced biosafety level 3 (BL-3+) facility according to the standard operation protocol approved by Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC). All experiments were performed with written consent and in accordance with the approved guidelines.
